Dual zone bar fridges with independently controlled beer and wine compartments — one fridge, two perfect temperatures. The beer zone runs at 0–4°C while the wine zone maintains 12–18°C.
How it works: Two separate compartments with independent thermostats. Set the beer zone ice-cold and the wine zone cellar-cool. Both temperatures are maintained simultaneously from one power point.
Under-bench options: The Schmick JC165B ($1,410) is the most popular — 165L capacity, heated glass door, front-venting for built-in installation. Fits under a standard 900mm bench at just 820mm tall.
Matching pairs: For maximum capacity, matching beer and wine fridge pairs sit side by side — dedicated zones in each unit. The Schmick BD425-Combo-B offers 810L total capacity at 1,200mm wide.
Temperature guide: Australian lagers (VB, Carlton, XXXX) drink best at 0–2°C. Craft IPAs prefer 3–5°C. Light whites at 8–10°C. Full reds at 15–18°C. A dual zone fridge lets you serve every style at its best.
